I’m Norman Tiersch, a freelance camera operator and video editor based in Kerpen, near Cologne. Since 2012, I have been creating films for businesses, agencies and event organisers across North Rhine-Westphalia and Germany.

As a self-employed filmmaker, I can handle compact productions myself. This keeps communication direct and the production setup proportionate to your project. Larger or multi-camera requirements are discussed before a booking is confirmed.
I work with my own equipment, including a Canon EOS R3. Camera, sound and lighting are selected for the agreed shoot. For agency assignments, we confirm resolution, frame rate, recording format and file delivery together.
Based near Cologne. Available across Germany.
My base is Kerpen, close to Cologne and Düsseldorf. Travel, access, setup time and any location permissions are considered in the planning and quotation.

How we work together
1. Share your brief
Tell me about your audience, filming location, date and intended use. If your concept is ready, send the shot list and technical requirements.
2. Agree the production
We confirm the schedule, equipment, responsibilities and scope in an individual quotation.
3. Film & deliver
For camera bookings, footage handover is agreed before the shoot. For edited films, we also define the review process and final versions.
